Andrea Pirlo has decided to retire from active football.
The Italian midfielder, Pirlo, has stated that the time has come to leave the fields and start a new life.
“You feel the moment of retirement. Every day you have physical problems and can not train as you want, “Pirlo said.
“At the age of 38 is the time to leave room for younger players,” he added.
But the former Italian player will not be away from the football world as he will start school for coach.
He is also reportedly joining Chelsea coach Antonio Contes.
Otherwise, Pirlo during his career has won six times the title of Serie A, twice the Champions League and once again the World Cup with Italy.
