Bayern Munich beat PSG to win Champions League, clinch treble

For the sixth time in their illustrious history, Bayern Munich are champions of Europe.

The German giants capped an impeccable season by capturing the Champions League title on Sunday, earning a tense 1-0 victory over final debutants Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon.

Kingsley Coman, a former PSG player, scored the lone goal of the contest, nodding home an inch-perfect cross from Joshua Kimmich in the 59th minute.

The goal, and the win, saw Hansi Flick’s side clinch a treble, having already secured the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal crowns earlier in the prolonged campaign.

More to come.
