Fulham relegated as Westwood, Wood fire Burnley to victory

Fulham were relegated from the Premier League on Monday after falling 2-0 against Burnley at Craven Cottage.

Ashley Westwood and Chris Wood scored in the first half to secure the win – and Burnley’s Premier League status for next season – against a Fulham side that will return to the Championship for the 2021-22 campaign after just one season back in the top flight.

The Cottagers are the last club to get relegated from the Premier League alongside Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion.

More to come.
