La Liga gets green light to return in June

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez confirmed Saturday that La Liga will be allowed to return during the week of June 8.

Although the Spanish top flight has yet to confirm a date to resume the season – which has been suspended since March due to the coronarvirus pandemic – La Liga president Javier Tebas has previously said that he would like to restart the campaign on June 12.
