Last-second goal gives Liverpool huge comeback win over Aston Villa

Liverpool are making a habit of leaving it late.

The Reds maintained their six-point advantage over Manchester City at the top of the table with a last-gasp win over Aston Villa on Saturday, getting a 94th-minute header from Sadio Mane to secure a 2-1 comeback victory.

City looked to be on the verge of cutting the gap to four points with a late fightback of their own against Southampton, but goals from Andy Robertson and Mane saw Jurgen Klopp’s men snatch three points at Villa Park.

More to come.
