Leipzig score late goals to stun Benfica, reach round of 16

RB Leipzig left it very late on Wednesday, but the German side confirmed its place in the knockout stage of the Champions League with a rousing comeback against Benfica.

Trailing 2-0 heading into stoppage time, Emil Forsberg scored twice, including a dramatic equalizer in the 96th minute to secure qualification out of Group G.

Benfica, meanwhile, are officially eliminated from contention for the last 16 after their late collapse.

More to come.
