Liverpool rebound from early Tottenham goal for important win

Liverpool took three huge points from Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday following Harry Kane’s early opener and despite some superb athleticism from goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.

Jordan Henderson knocked in the Reds’ equalizer soon after the break before Mohamed Salah notched a decisive penalty with 15 minutes of normal time remaining.

The 2-1 win re-established Liverpool’s six-point cushion over Manchester City at the Premier League’s summit.
