Tottenham: Kane suffered torn hamstring on New Year's Day

Jose Mourinho expected “bad news,” and that’s exactly what he got.

Tottenham confirmed Friday striker Harry Kane tore his left hamstring in Wednesday’s loss to Southampton.

The club didn’t provide a timetable for his return.

“Our medical staff will continue to review the injury with treatment ongoing,” Spurs said in a statement.

More to come.
