Turkey, France book Euro 2020 spots

Turkey and France are the latest nations to secure a berth at the 2020 European Championships.

Courtesy of Turkey’s goalless draw with Iceland in Istanbul, both Senol Gunes’ lot and World Cup holders France are guaranteed of finishing in the top-two spots in Group H to ensure a place at next summer’s tournament.

France host Moldova later Thursday knowing that a victory or draw will see Didier Deschamps’ charges vault Turkey for top spot in the group with one qualifier to play.
