Willian, Pedro agree to see out season with Chelsea

Pending free agents Willian and Pedro signed short-term contracts with Chelsea to stay at the club for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, the Blues announced Tuesday.

Chelsea only had until Tuesday evening to agree to temporary deals.

Both players are still expected to leave the Blues at the end of the campaign. Willian has been unable to reach an agreement with Chelsea over a new, multi-year contract, according to The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg, while Pedro has reportedly agreed to join Roma on a free transfer.

More to come.
